Since 1999, the Center for Alternative Medicine has been providing non-traditional and alternative treatments for degenerative diseases, disorders of aging, hormone regulation, cardiovascular diseases, problems related to aging, adjunctive cancer therapies and many other health problems. During these past seven years, we have come to realize that our name does not reflect many of the conventional and traditional therapies that we also employ daily in our care of those who come to see us. Additionally, we believe it is important to emphasize the sacred nature of life and the healing process and want to reflect those concepts in our name.

Our new name, LifeTree Center for Integrative Medical Practice, speaks to these issues and arises from our logo. This symbol of the Tree of Life is surrounded by a ring representing love. The new name additionally emphasizes the specific medical nature of our practice and our desire to integrate the best of conventional and non-traditional therapies in the care of our patients.

A name does not a practice make, but our hope is that we and our patrons will be inspired by our name to become better stewards of our health and to see that we are all leaves on the greater Tree of Life that we share. We look forward to the coming years and continuing opportunities to serve you with this new name on our cap.
